I recently discovered and remembered the old Sega Classic the Lion King!
This game is just brilliant - The animations are just beautiful; this game has real heart

The only downside about this game is there is no save feature - Its still a great game though. By the end it you end up becoming an expert at the first and second level xD

However - I realized that this game can be downloaded and played on your very computer!
I shall give you a tutorial on how to get it - and relive those childhood memories again, and again



Step 1. Go to this link and download the .zip file at the bottom of the page

Step 2. Once you have downloaded this file you need to download a program called DOSBOX (considering the Lion King game is a DOS game) Download this program here.

Step 3. Great! You are probably thinking wtf!? Good news is you are nearly done ^^ What you need to do is instead of installing the lion king (because you need a disc and shizz) you need to install DOSBOX
Once that is done you need to do the following

Create a folder in your c:\ drive called games - or whatever you want
then create a sub folder and name it "lionking"
Move all the contents of the .zip file into the lionking folder

NOW!

Start up DOSBOX
(You are all probably clueless)
ok you need to type the following into the console

mount c c:\games (or whatever you called the folder)

it will tell you that Drive C is mounted as a local.....ect

next type c:\

then: "cd lionking"

then type lionking


YAY YOU'RE NEARLY THERE!

It should start up and will ask you to enter a word
It doesnt matter what word xD

Step 4. Ok so you are at the main menu!
old school eah?

If you leave the menu for awhile it enters demo mode - you can easily escape this by pressing space
Just press spacebar quickly to start the game
Timon will "say It starts"

The controls as a cub are arrows and space is jump
ctrl is roar - mind you roars are only effective if your roar meter is full
that is - the meter on the left of the screen. Health is the right

Collect bugs to gain health. Big blue bugs help restore your roar ^^

I have this game too but on the SNES [s]that I have on my laptop[/s] I loved that game, I wish it'd been longer XD.

FFFF that "I just cant wait to be king" part annoyed me so much because of always misjudging the jumps dfsdfs and that running bit with the ostrich. BUT I LIKED THE BACKGROUND MUSIC.

OH - MY - GOD!
When I was a little kid, I used to play this game like crazy at my friend's place. 8'O
