Now hmmn... I understand why fawns can only keep their spell for a bit of time. THe idea with that is that the deer aren't experienced enough to keep the magic, or whatever.
But what is the stpry behind minis not being able to have pelts? ): Is it just because it wasn't put into the game? Is there an actual explanation?

I think mini-deer were a glitch to begin with, and not only that it falls under the Shape-shift category. Things like Doves, Frogs, etc cannot keep pelts and cannot have anything casted on them.
I'm not too sure , though.

I highly doubt mini deer were inspired by a glitch, but I could be wrong. I imagine if it was a glitch of a normal-sized deer shrinking, they would have pelts.
